A ceramic figurine inspired by the Disney Studios animated package film "The Three Caballeros" (1944). Featuring a gorgeous and vibrant rendering of the suave Brazilian parrot Jose Carioca, the figurine was produced by Zaccagnini Italy in the 1940s. Walt Disney entrusted Zaccagnini to produce sculptures at the end of the 1930s and they are masterworks in sculpture and artistry. Measuring 4.5”x3.75” and 7.75” tall, Jose is in very good condition with some wear, and some minor imperfections in the glaze.
